"Flow" symbolizes the continuity and transformation of
time and energy, while "Domain" explores the interaction
between space and boundaries. This light installation,
composed of LED strips and transparent ventilation pipes,
channels flowing light through ruins, reconstructing broken
spaces with illumination. The transparent pipes, illuminated
by the light, resemble a serene river of light, breathing new
vitality into the ruins. The flow of light reveals the nonlinear
nature of time, as its intensity and rhythm shift according
to the spatial structure, blending the static and dynamic
aspects of the ruins. The transparent material blurs the
boundaries between the artwork and its surroundings,
transforming the ruins into a stage where the tangible and
intangible intertwine. Inspired by Rosalind Krauss’s theory
of the "Expanded Field," the work redefines the ruins
through light, transforming them into a dynamic domain
of memory and life. It explores the fluidity of existence and
opens up new possibilities for narrative creation.
